Cusco FC started the preparations for the 2020 season - preliminary roster available

Cusco FC (former Real Garcilaso) have already started the preparations for the 2020 season, involving participation in the Peruvian First Division (starting at the end of January) and Copa Sudamericana (starting in February).

The following players are already on the official roster, under the technical command of manager Javier Arce:

As one can see, 21 players are already on the list, and others are expected to complete the roster in January. Only two important players from last season continue with the club, Alfredo Ramúa and Danilo Carando. The others are goalkeeper Ricardo Farro (who was seldom used) and young local players, such as Aucca, Velásquez, Uscamayta and Chahuaylla. It is possible that the club management have cut the budget for 2020, given these low-profile transfers.

One foreign player may still be brought, as five foreign players are allowed in the roster, although only four in the field.
