Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all football matches in Bulgaria have been suspended since the 9th of March 2020. A state of emergency was declared in Bulgaria on the 13th of March for one month and has been further extended for another month on the 14th of April 2020. As a result, on the 21st of April, the Bulgarian Football Union declared the 2019-2020 season as finished for all amateur football competitions, and later even for the Second League (Vtora Liga). Only remaining matches in the First League (Parva Liga) will be played starting in June 2020. The table in the moment of suspension remained final for all competitions that will not be resumed. No teams are relegated in amateur football, while leaders of the groups in the Third League will be promoted in the Second League.
In the North-West Group of the Third League (Severozapadna Treta Liga), the final table remains the same as it was during the winter break, as no matches were played in spring. Yantra 2019 Gabrovo are promoted to the Second League for the 2020-2021 season. Spartak Pleven are relegated to this group from the Second League. No teams are relegated to the regional leagues. Promotion from the regional leagues will probably be decided in summer. OFK Tryavna finished on the 12th position (out of 14), with the same number of points as Parva Atomna Kozloduy. Despite the better goal difference for OFK Tryavna, the away goal scored by Parva Atomna Kozloduy in their only head-to-head match makes the difference according to en.bulgarian-football.com.
