Tersana already promoted, Fayoum consolidate their second place

Fayoum SC obtained a much-fought narrow win away at Egypt Stars, their main rivals for taking the second place in Group B. The only goal of the game was scored by Karim Rashid, 15 minutes after the start of the second half.

Nevertheless, Fayoum lost any chance to the first place, because Tersana won easily at home and therefore maintain the 10-point gap between them and the second place Fayoum. With three games remaining for both teams, this gap is now impossible to recover.

As such, Tersana are already promoted to the Second Division and will be involved in the play-offs for the Egyptian Premier League, along with the other group winners and the third place in the Second Division.
