Real Garcilaso, from bad to worse

The Peruvian First Division started last week-end with the first round of Apertura, and Real Garcilaso had an apparently easy task, playing away to newly-promoted Molinos El Pirata FC, a team which is in its first season in the First Divison (now called Liga 1) as champions of 2018 Copa Peru.
However, at Francisco Mendoza Pizarro Stadium in the city of Olmos, the home side surprisingly won 2-1 in their first ever match in the Peruvian top league on Monday evening, on the 18th of February 2019.
The defeat is hardly acceptable for Real Garcilaso, considered to be a much stronger team, which is supposed to fight for the title.
Pirata FC succeeded to score first, by means of Luis Acuy in the 23rd minute. The visitors equalized quite quickly, as Javier Nunez strongly shooted from inside the box in the 30th minute.
Then, both teams tried to score the winning goal, and eventually Carlos Canales scored for the home side in the 85th minute bringing all 3 points to Pirata FC, one of the big surprises of the first round.
Pirata: Llontop - Ramirez, Bravo, R. Rengifo, Quevedo - Canales - Aguirre, Perleche (82 Bustamente), Cueto (69 Serrato), Acuy (88 Echeandia) - Tejada. Head coach: Pablo Zegarra.
Garcilaso: Farro - Arismendi, Robles, Quina (13 Canova), Cossio - Manco (60 Tuesta), Miguez - Nunez, Ramua, Souza (68 Carando) - H. Rengifo. Head coach: Hector Tapia.
For Real Garcilaso, this is a second missed chance, after Deportivo La Guaira (Venezuela) eliminated them from Copa Libertadores against all odds.
The other results in the first round of Apertura:

Alianza Lima - Sport Boys 3-0
Universidad de San Martin - Universidad Tecnica de Cajamarca 1-1
Deportivo Binacional - Universidad Cesar Vallejo 1-0
Carlos Mannucci - Ayacucho 4-4
Sport Huancayo - Sporting Cristal 0-2
Union Comercio - Universitario de Deportes 1-1
FBC Melgar - Deportivo Municipal 0-3
Alianza Universidad - Academia Cantolao 0-0
