1. FK Svidník continue their good run in the Slovak Third League with a goalless draw away at Kalinovo, where they could have easily won the game, if one counts the goal opportunities they had. The match started with the visitors in attack, and one cannot point out all the chances they had and missed. Sopko had an ideal situation, but his shot from the center of the box went above the cross bar (8'). The biggest chance of the first half was missed by Tokar, who, after a cross by Ivanecký from the left side, headed from short range into the side post, and then Danko blocked Sova's shot from the 6-yard box (23'). Tomáš Klučár also had a couple of chances before the break.

In the second half, the game was pretty much the same, and Jozef Sova had a great chance as he was one on one with the goalkeeper, lobbed him, but a defender succeeded to save from the goal line (57'). The home side also had several minutes of pressure, between 63' and 66', when Adam Horvát missed two chances, and there was a claim for penalty.

Towards the end of the game, both teams fought to score the winning goal, but they were also more careful in defense, so there were fewer goal opportunities. The visitors had the best of them, but Sova's shot was saved by the goalkeeper (73') and Tokar's header went wide (79').

The home side pressed more in the final minutes, to no avail.
