Danilo Carando and Donald Millan both scored a double: Binacional - Real Garcilaso 2-2 in the sixth round of the Peruvian Clausura

Monday, the 9th of September 2019, 15:00 local time (20:00 UTC), Guillermo Briceno Rosamedina Stadium, Juliaca, Peru, the sixth round of Clausura, the Peruvian First Division.
Real Garcilaso were defeated in every game since Juan Reynoso left as a head coach, so they were pretty much outsiders in the match at Juliaca against Apertura champions, Deportivo Binacional. It is also true that Javier Arce has left Binacional, so they also remained without a head coach for the moment, and it is even rumoured that Arce will be the new head coach of... Real Garcilaso.
The first half was characterized by the overall territorial control and possession of the home side, which attacked from the beginning. Real Garcilaso defended well and scored on the counterattack, by Danilo Carando, who seems to come back to the shape he had two years ago. The first goal was after a solitary run, in which Carando outran his opponent and shot between the defender and the goalkeeper: 0-1 (14'). The second one was after long pass from Cossio and another solitary run which ended with a shot from inside the box near the far post: 0-2 (34'). In both goals, the impression was that the goalkeeper Sotillo could have done more. The home side continued their attacks but the biggest goal opportunity belonged also to the visitors, Ramua's long-range shot from a free kick hitting the cross bar in the added time of the first time.

Binacional started very well the second half and succeeded to equalize in less than ten minutes. First, the ball shot by Millan from inside the area hit Arismendi's arms and the referee awarded a penalty, transformed by the same Donald Millan: 1-2 (52'). After just one minute, Reyes' cross from the left side found again Millan in the middle of the area, and he equalized with a spectacular header: 2-2 (53').
After that, despite a lot of amazing opportunities, Binacional could not find the winning goal, as Ferreyra saved miraculously several times. At the other end, another long-range shot by Ramua from a free kick ended up again hitting the cross bar (72').
Eventually, both teams had to be content with one point.
Binacional: Sotillo - A. Perez, Fajardo, Herve Kambou, Reyes - Tello, Aubert - Leudo (Zeta 65'), Millan, Polar (Collazos 81') - A. Rodriguez. Head coach: Javier Uturunco.
Real Garcilaso: Ferreyra - Arsimendi, Robles, Quina, Cossio - Miguez, Archimbaud - Ismodes (Souza 83'), Ramua, Lecaros (Goyoneche 68') - Carando (Rengifo 79'). Head coach: Ariel Paz.
Referee: Mike Palomino.
Yellow cards: Millan 19', Herve Kambou 89' - Miguez 21', Archimbaud 27', Ferreyra 44', Robles 45', Quina 47', Goyoneche 75'.
Despite this draw, Real Garcilaso remains second to last in the classification and is waiting for the new head coach. The information provided by several media outlets points to Javier Arce, former Binacional head coach.
