Bdin 1923 Vidin are almost saved from relegation this season after a comfortable 4-0 win away at last classified and already relegated OFK Tryavna on Sunday evening. Unlike Tryavna, which lost all their matches in the second half of the season, Bdin 1923 had an excellent spring part of the season, and are now only one win away to remain in the Third League for one more year.
The match was disputed mainly in the first half, as OFK Tryavna tried to defend as much as possible, while the visitors attacked and eventually scored by means of Denis Nikolov: 0-1 (38').
In the second half, Bdin 1923 Vidin pushed for a second goal and Aleksandar Ivanov finally succeeded to bring peace and quiet in the visitors' camp: 0-2 (65'). OFK Tryavna, with very many young players, had to conceal two more goals at the end of the match, as Deyan Zahariev (85') and Denis Georgiev (87') established the final score, 0-4.
There is one more round to be played this season, and the nightmare would be over for OFK Tryavna, which would have to start in the regional Gabrovo Oblast League next season. Hopefully, the town mayor Sylvia Kristeva, along with the club president and the current manager, would think of a solution for the club to return soon to the Third League and to become a regular at this level. Perhaps they might learn something from the much more decided authorities in Vidin, where they found a way to save the club Bdin 1923 from relegation even this year, despite the very poor first half of the season.

In the last round of the season, OFK Tryavna will play away at Spartak Pleven, while Bdin 1923 Vidin need to win their last match at home against their neighbours FK Drenovets. The derby between the first and second classified, Levski 2020 Lom and Vihar Slavyanovo, would only have a statistical purpose and would be played for honor and glory, because Levski 2020 Lom are already promoted.
