Fayoum continue their surprisingly long positive run, with a third consecutive win and the fifth match unbeaten, actually since the arrival of new manager, Saad Farouk. It is a pity that this did not happen earlier, perhaps Fayoum could have had a chance to fight for the first place. Given that there are only four rounds to be played, they may reach the fourth place at best.
The match away at Dayrout gave Fayoum the opportunity to equalize their opponents in terms of points, in case of winning. This eventually happened, as Anas Muhammad "Shendy" scored twice, the first time at the beginning of the match, in the 10th minute, and the second time in the 74th minute. The host team tried to come back in the game, but they did not succeed to materialize any of their chances, and Fayoum left with all points.

In the other matches of the round, Eastern Company, in leading position, extended their gap but Aluminium have one match less, because the result of their match against Samasta (which ended 2-2) was cancelled and will have to be played again, on Tuesday, 8 June 2021. In case Aluminium win, the gap would be reduced to just one point.
In the relegation area, things are complicated. Tahta are mathematically relegated, with 4 rounds to go, but other six teams fight to avoid the remaining three relegation spots. Samasta have an extra match, but it's going to be a very tough one, against Aluminium.
Fayoum and Dayrout are in safe mid-table positions. In the next round, Fayoum will face KIMA Aswan at home, while Dayrout will play away at Media.
