1. FK Svidník did not have too many hopes regarding their away match at leaders FK Humenné. The hosts needed at least one point to be mathematically promoted to the Second League as champions of the Third League (East Group), but they obtained their 13 win in a row out of a total of 14 matches this season.
The match really had no history, FK Humenné attacked almost continuously, and 1. FK Svidník defended as good as they could, trying to limit the disaster. The four goals were scored evenly, two in every half: Marko Milunović (15'), Filip Bednár (40'), Roland Černák (58') and Jozef Skvašik (90') were the goalscorers.

FK Humenné players and staff celebrated at the end of the match, but for 1. FK Svidník the situation turned for the worse. Not so much because of this game, which was probably considered as "lost" even before it had started, but because of the unexpected win of Slovan Giraltovce, 1-0 away at Tesla Stropkov. A team, Tesla Stropkov, which won 3-1 over 1. FC Tatran Prešov just three weeks ago, cancelling the promotion dreams of a once great club, was defeated by one of the weakest teams in the group, Slovan Giraltovce.
The last round would be decisive for relegation. 1. FK Svidník needs desperately to win against Slávia TU Košice, and would wait for a miracle to happen: Slovan Giraltovce to lose at home against MFK Snina. In case of a draw, Slovan Giraltovce would be ahead of 1. FK Svidník because they were awarded a 3-0 win in their head-to-head game against 1. FK Svidník (for no show).
Milénium Bardejovská Nová Ves lost both matches and are mathematically relegated, if the last two sides are to be relegated to the Fourth League.
