Bourj FC managed a goalless draw in the first official match of the season, which took place on Saturday afternoon, 15 September 2018, at Kfarjoz Stadium in Nabatieh, against Al Ahly Nabatieh, fifth classified last season. On a very warm weather, about 1000 spectators gathered to see a game in which Bourj FC had the biggest chances to score but failed to do so as striker Abdullah Kanoute missed several opportunities.
