OFK Tryavna lost 4-1 to Vihar Slavyanovo in the 4th round of the Bulgarian Third League

Sunday, the 30th of August 2020, 6 pm local time (3 pm UTC), Angel Kanchev Stadium, Tryavna, Bulgaria, the 4th round of the Bulgarian Severozapadna Treta Liga (Third League - North-West Group).
In their first home game this year, OFK Tryavna lost to leaders Vihar Slavyanovo in an easy match for the visitors. The winners were already known after 15 minutes, as Vihar scored twice by means of Ivan Ivanov, both times assisted by the captain Konstantin Genkov. There were no more goals in the first half, but then, in the middle of the second half, the same Ivan Ivanov scored again and completed his hat-trick: 0-3. The home side succeeded their first goal of the season by means of captain Vasil Andreev: 1-3 (80'). However, the visitors scored the last goal of the evening, also by the means of their captain, Konstantin Genkov, who headed in a ball crossed from a corner by Ioan Petkov: 1-4 (84').
Starting line-ups:
Tryavna: Ivan Petrov - Ivaylo Hristov, Stanimir Andreev, Tsanko Slavov, Hussein Weisov, Oktay Azisov, Ilian Tosunov, Nikolay Georgiev, Alex Zgriparov, Hristo Tsonev, Vasil Andreev (captain). Head coach: Daniel Hristov.
Vihar: Teodor Todorov - Stanislav Ivanov, Nikolay Ivanov, Lyubomir Borisov, Toni Palikrushev, Svetlin Zlatarev, Desislav Rusev, Ioan Petkov, Milen Todorov, Konstantin Genkov (captain), Ivan Ivanov. Head coach: Nikolay Boyanov.
Referee: Stilyan Kolev (Veliko Tarnovo).
OFK Tryavna has a much younger team than last year, and the lack of experience of the players was obvious in this game, as well as in others. Vihar, on the other hand, showed strength and efficiency, although they also missed several opportunities. They are clearly one of the top teams in this group, fighting for promotion. Unfortunately for Tryavna, they are also clearly involved in the fight to avoid relegation. If this is attainable, one will see in their next games, when they will meet other teams from the lower part of the table. Their first such game will be on Sunday, the 6th of September, when they will play away at Yantra Polski Trambesh.
