Bourj wins 4-0 against Homenetmen as the Lebansese Second Division resumes

After a longer winter break due to the Lebanese national team participation in the AFC Asian Cup, the Lebanese Second Division has resumed this week-end with the games of the 12th round, the first of the second half of the tournament.

Bourj took on last classified Homenetmen, the only team which curiously won against them in the first 11 rounds. It was the only Homenetmen win and the only Bourj defeat so far!

However, this time, the story was much different. The match was ironically played on the same Bhamdoun Stadium used by Bourj as their home ground in the previous encounter between the two teams, while this time Homenetmen were considered hosts.

Bourj won convincingly by 4-0 (2-0 at half time). The goals were scored by Wassem Abdelhady in the 6th and 67th minute, Hisham Shahimi in the 40th minute and Papy Thinaldum in the 89th minute.
