Oddly, while all the others rounds in the Bulgarian Third League - North-West were played on Sunday, the 12th round was scheduled initially on Friday, then moved a day earlier, on Thursday, the 24th of October.
In one of the important matches for the lower part of the classification, Kom Berkovitsa finally won 4-2 over OFK Tryavna. The home side played very well in the first half and scored early, by Martin Mihaylov: 1-0 (5'). Galab Gerasimov doubled their advantage: 2-0 (37'), a score which seemed conclusive at half time.
However, in the second half, OFK Tryavna took control of the game and succeeded to come back in the game, equalizing within a couple of minutes by means of Teodor Kostov (62') and Iliyan Trifonov (64'): 2-2. The home side reacted quickly and regained advantage after just two minutes, as Yordan Todorov scored for 3-2 (66'). The final minutes were very intense, with the visitors trying to equalize once again, while Berkovitsa played mostly on the counterattack, eventually scoring for 4-2 by means of Galab Gerasimov (82'), a goal which pretty much ensured the three points for the home side.
OFK Tryavna came to this game after their first victory this season, 2-0 away at Bdin Vidin, but their good moral was not enough to make a difference in Berkovitsa. However, they remain on the 12th place, right above the relegation line, because their one point gap to Bdin Vidin remained unchanged, as Bdin Vidin also lost, 4-1 away at Akademik Svishtov.
