OFK Tryavna lost 3-0 away at Partizan Cherven Bryag in the 9th round of the Bulgarian Third League - North-West Group

Sunday, the 6th of October 2019, 16:00 local time (13:00 UTC), Gradski Stadium, Cherven Bryag, Bulgaria, ninth round of the Bulgarian Third League - North-West Group (Severozapadna Treta Liga).
Partizan Cherven Bryag proved once again very strong at home and defeated OFK Tryavna, a team which is still looking for their first win this season. The first half was goalless, as both teams fought heavily in the middle of the field. The home side had most of the ball possession and attacked more but had hardly any chances, especially by long-range shots. OFK Tryavna could have scored early, after a free kick from the left side and a shot from inside the area, missed by the Partizan goalkeeper but saved by defender Galin Velikov on the goal line (8').
In the second half, Partizan started well, putting a lot of pressure on Tryavna defense. Milan Tonev missed a clear goal opportunity (50'), then Angel Rusev could only be stopped by a foul inside the area. The penalty was executed by Kaloyan Todorov: 1-0 (52').

The visitors were therefore forced to come out and play their way back into the game, and Dinev missed their biggest equalizing opportunity (60'). However, while Tryavna tried to attack, they left wider spaces in their defensive, easily speculated by the Partizan forwards, who missed several outstanding opportunities on the counterattack. Eventually, Aleksandar Aleksandrov managed to score from inside the area, after a good cross from the left side by Milen Tonev: 2-0 (86'). The final score was established by Aleksandar Asenov in the added time, as he was all alone in the middle of the area and was well assisted by Angel Rusev from the right: 3-0 (91').

The biggest surprise of the round was the 1-0 home defeat of the leaders, Yantra 2019 Gabrovo, in front of OFK Pavlikeni. This changed the leaders, as FK Sevlievo won 2-1 away at Juventus 95 Malchika. Vihar Slavyanovo and Partizan Cherven Bryag are also close to the top of the table.
In the next round, Partizan Cherven Bryag will play away at Akademik Svishtov, while OFK Tryavna are looking forward for their first win this season, at home against Parva Atomna Kozloduy.
