The match between Deportivo Llacuabamba and Cusco FC finished goalless, despite the fact that both teams had good opportunities to score.
Cusco FC were considered favorites before the game, but once again they failed to accomplish the expectations. Even if they have the best team in the Peruvian Second Division, on paper, in reality they once again struggled quite a lot even to get one point. They could have won the game, but they were unable to break Llacuabamba defensive lines, or missed the target from excellent positions.
Deportivo Llacuabamba played mostly defensively, but launched quite many courageous fast breaks and succeeded to maintain a goalless draw until the end of the game.
Both teams have 8 points now and are 5 points behind the leaders, Unión Comercio. Cusco FC have a game in hand compared to both Unión Comercio and Llacuabamba.
In the next round, Cusco FC will face Los Chankas at home, while Llacuabamba will play away at Alfonso Ugarte.
