Bourj FC won 2-0 away at Nahda Barelias on Sunday, the 31st of March 2019, and became champions of the Second Division before the last round, when they will meet Shabab El Bourj in a derby between the two teams promoted to the Lebanese Premier League.
The match between Nahda Barelias and Bourj was played at Nabi Chit Stadium in Bekaa and was largely controlled by Bourj, which managed to score twice in the first half by Samih Damaj in the 30th minute and Wassem Abdelhady in the 40th minute.

The second half brought nothing new on the scoreboard, so Bourj fans celebrated again. A week ago they celebrated the promotion to the Premier League, this time they celebrated the honour of becoming Second Division champions.
All games were played at the same time, and this will happen again on Friday afternoon, the 5th of April, when the last round is scheduled. The only remaining question is regarding the team that would join Homenetmen Beirut to the Third Division. The key game in this respect seems to involve Nahda Barelias and Shabab Al Arabi.
