On Friday, the 5th of April, Bourj FC played ”away” to Shabab El Bourj at Amin Abdelnour Stadium in Bhamdoun, actually the home ground of Bourj FC for the games of the second half of the season. The match was played behind closed doors; however, about 200 Bourj fans attended from the neighbouring buildings and from the hill slope near the stadium, supporting their team.
The result had no effect, as both teams were already promoted to the Premier League and Bourj FC were champions.

Nevertheless, the game was played at high intensity given the local rivalry between the two teams.
Bourj FC won rather clearly, and they even had 3-0 after goals score by Wassem Abdelhady in the 44th minute, Papy Thandoum in the 77th minute after a tremendous mistake of Shabab El Bourj goalkeeper and Ali Harouni in the 86th minute. Shabab El Bourj were only able to score two goals in the final minutes of the game.
For Bourj FC staff, players and fans, celebrations continued late into the night.
