The match between Slovan Giraltovce and 1. FK Svidník, scheduled for Saturday, the 22nd of August 2020, 4 pm local time (2 pm UTC), and counting for the fifth round of the Slovak 3. Liga - East, has been postponed. No other details are known for the moment regarding the reasons behind this postponement, but they might be related to COVID-19 health issues regarding one or more players of one of the teams.
However, it is possible that the clubs knew about this at least one day before, because several 1. FK Svidník young footballers of the senior side played for the U19 team in the home match against the U19 team of KAC Jednota Košice (1-6), also scheduled for Saturday, the 22nd of August 2020, 10 am local time (8 am UTC). Probably at that time, they were already aware that the match away at Giraltovce had been postponed, otherwise they would not have played a few hours before the kick-off in other town.
