All football competitions in Slovakia interrupted again, except for professional Fortuna Liga

The COVID-19 pandemic took a turn for the worse in Slovakia, and therefore Slovak authorities had to take further measures, imposing more and more restrictions. On the 1st of October 2020, it was decided that spectators are not allowed in the stands any longer, and clubs had to test their players and staff within 24 hours before every game, a very challenging request. Many matches were therefore postponed in the 11th and 12th rounds of the 3. Liga. On the 15th of October, all sporting competitions involving more than 6 people at a time were banned according to a new order issued by the Slovak crisis board. An exception has been made for the professional Fortuna Liga, but all the other competitions lower than that, starting from the Second Division (2. Liga) to the local leagues were interrupted indefinitely.
In the 3. Liga, only 12 rounds have been played out of the 17 rounds scheduled for this autumn, and almost half of the matches in rounds 10 and 11 have not been played either. It is unrealistic to think that the situation would change before mid-November, when weather conditions would still allow matches to be played. Therefore, it is reasonable to suppose that in the best scenario the competitions would resume in March 2021, and there will be a longer spring part of the season, including a full 18 rounds (instead of the original 13 rounds, scheduled initially) and the postponed matches from rounds 11 and 12. The head of the Eastern Slovakia Football Federation has already announced that his plan is to start in mid-March and to extend the competition until the 27th of June 2021, if possible, with 2 rounds to be played in mid-week. Another fact which has to be considered is that only 3 rounds (and the postponed matches) have to be played to reach half of the competition, and it is envisaged that this would be the minimum necessary for the season to be considered as completed, and not cancelled, allowing teams to be promoted and relegated. It is a consistent change from what happened a few months ago, when the 2019-2020 season was cancelled, although more than half of the matches (17 rounds out of 30) have been played. Now, there is so much fear that another season might be cancelled, that football authorities eventually changed their mind and would accept an incomplete season as "finished" and not "cancelled", according to new regulations which allow this to happen if at least half of the scheduled games are played.
In the 3. Liga - East, the table shows like this at the moment of interruption:
