Fayoum SC has a new sponsor and Ahmed Bakri is the new manager

Immediately after the end of the 2019-2020 Egyptian Second Division, on the 14th of October 2020 Fayoum SC announced via different media channels that Amr Darwish is the new sponsor of the team for the next five years. He is probably connected with the company U Sport, which has also been announced as a new sponsor.
The Egyptian FA decision to cancel the relegation from the Second Division came in handy for the new sponsors, as Fayoum would remain in the Second Division for the 2020-2021 season, set to start on the 25th of November 2020.
It was obvious that the new owners would not continue with Karam Jaber as manager, given the poor results that the team have obtained this year, which eventually led to relegation (luckily cancelled). Therefore, in the first days of November, Ahmed Bakri has been announced as the new manager.

Ahmed Bakri is a former Egyptian Premier League player of Ismaili, El Gouna and other teams, but he is rather inexperienced as a manager, as the only teams he managed played in the Third Division and the results there were not outstanding. However, he was well received at Fayoum and there are some high hopes, as always, and even talks about promotion to the Premier League.
I would be much more cautious when establishing such objectives, because they are not realistic, at least they do not look so right now. This is a team which escaped relegation every year, battling in the lower part of the table. Last year they were saved only in the final round. This year they were saved by a decision of the Egyptian FA. To think of this team as a candidate for promotion is unrealistic and it might undermine all the positive efforts that are really made. A more balanced position should fit better, and an objective like to classify in the upper half of the table is manageable. Fayoum SC needs a change in this respect, and needs to become again a strong team in the Second Division, first, to dream about promotion to the Premier League.
In the meantime, Abdo Shaaban has been confirmed as the new goalkeepers' coach, and important transfers are expected, but none yet confirmed.
Training sessions have started on Monday, the 2nd of November, at the Sports City Stadium in Damo, under the guidance of the new manager, Ahmed Bakri.
