Akademik Svishtov registered the third consecutive win, a positive run which took them out of the relegation zone, while OFK Tryavna records the fifth consecutive defeat, which pretty much buries them even more in the lower part of the table. The match started well for the home side, which took the lead early: after two goal opportunities, Danailov was lucky enough to be in the right place when goalkeeper Kirov dropped the ball after a deflected shot, hitting Danailov and getting in: 1-0 (9'). The visitors were quick in balancing the game, and they succeeded to equalize by Vasil Andreev, as the Svishtov goalkeeper left the ball out of his control, thus returning the favour: 1-1 (24'). In the rest of the first half, the match had a good pace, with both sides trying their best. The visitors even scored again, but the goal was cancelled for offside (44').
In the second half, Akademik Svishtov controlled most of the game, and they were again in advantage by means of Plamen Angelov: 2-1 (64'). Two more goals by Preslav Antonov (72') and Soner Hussein (76') were decisive in establishing the final score, 4-1. The match was broadcasted live on Facebook and is still available to watch.
