The match between OFK Tryavna and Etar 2 postponed due to a positive case of COVID-19 within Etar 2 side

One player of Etar 2 Veliko Tarnovo has tested positive for COVID-19 more than a week ago, and therefore the first round match between Etar 2 and OFK Levski, scheduled on Sunday, the 9th of August 2020, was postponed.

Last week we have already supposed that it is going to be difficult for the Etar 2 team to play the next game, away at OFK Tryavna. On Thursday, the Regional Football Association in Veliko Tarnovo announced that the second round match, scheduled on Sunday, the 16th of August 2020, would also be postponed. Etar 2 players and staff are in quarantine, probably for 14 days. New tests gave negative results so far, so the club officials are optimistic that the quarantine will end and the players will be able to restart training and to make their debut in the Bulgarian Third League - North-West Group in the third round.

In the meantime, OFK Tryavna players trained normally and are looking forward to the next Sunday local derby against Lokomotiv Dryanovo, away.

The results of round 2:

Bdin Vidin - Akademia Botev Vratsa 0-4

Partizan Cherven Bryag - Drenovets 1-3

OFK Pavlikeni - Peshtera Galata 2-0

Levski Lom - Lokomotiv Mezdra - postponed due to reconstruction works at the stadium in Lom

Akademik Svishtov - Yantra Polski Trambesh 3-0

Parva Atomna Kozloduy - Vihar Slavyanovo 0-1

OFK Levski - Lokomotiv Dryanovo 1-3

OFK Tryavna - Etar 2 Veliko Tarnovo - postponed

Spartak Pleven - FK Sevlievo 0-1

This last result seems to show that FK Sevlievo are the main candidates for promotion this year. Akademia Botev Vratsa, Vihar Slavyanovo, Lokomotiv Dryanovo and OFK Pavlikeni also have the maximum number of points, 6, after two rounds.
