Sunday, the 9th of August 2020, 6 pm local time (3 pm UTC), Rakovski Stadium, Sevlievo, Bulgaria, the first round of the Bulgarian Treta Liga - North-West.
After a break of more than eight months, as the last official games were played in November 2019, the Bulgarian Third League - North-West Group (Severozapadna Treta Liga) started this Sunday with the matches of the first round of the 2020-2021 season despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the first round, OFK Tryavna had the same opponent like last year, FK Sevlievo. A year ago, OFK Tryavna managed a surprising 2-2 draw, but this time there was no place for surprises, and the home side won 3-0. FK Sevlievo, one of the main candidates for the top spot in this group and for the promotion to the Second League, had to wait until the end of the first half, when the match was practically decided in just a few minutes, as Tihomir Kanev (40') broke the deadlock and then Aleks Georgiev (43') doubled the advantage for the hosts.
In the second half, both teams had their chances, but the third goal of the game came only in stoppage time, when the same Tihomir Kanev finalized (90'+2') for a clear 3-0 win for Sevlievo.
In the other matches of the first round:
Spartak Pleven - Bdin Vidin 10-0!
Etar Veliko Tarnovo II - OFK Levski 2007 postponed due to a COVID-19 case within the Etar II side.
Lokomotiv Dryanovo - Parva Atomna Kozloduy 2-1
Vihar Slavyanovo - Akademik Svishtov 4-1
Yantra Polski Trambesh - Levski Lom 0-0
OFK Lokomotiv Mezdra - OFK Pavlikeni 0-1
Peshtera Galata - Partizan Cherven Bryag 0-1

In the next round, OFK Tryavna should play at home next Sunday against Etar Veliko Tarnovo II, but the match is in doubt due to the COVID-19 case discovered within Etar side.
