Shabab Sahel won 2-1 over Bourj FC and qualified to the Captain's Cup semifinals

On Saturday afternoon, the 19th of September 2020, Bourj FC played their final match in the friendly tournament called Captain's Cup, according to the main sponsor of the competition, Captain's Café. They needed to win over Shabab Sahel, while their opponents would qualify even with a draw. Like all the other matches in this tournament, the game was played on the small Al Ahed Stadium in the southern outskirts of Beirut, theoretically without spectators.
However, the ancient rivalry between the two sides playing the so-called "derby of the southern suburbs of Beirut" attracted the most radical fans, who climbed on the walls, buildings and trees surrounding the stadium, and possibly some of them made their way inside, which led to protests and the kick-off was slightly postponed, while the match in itself was interrupted several times.
Bourj FC were forced to attack and therefore launched a total offensive, but missed several important chances. Their attack lacks power and efficiency. Nevertheless, on the counterattack, Shabab Sahel proved dangerous and succeeded to score twice in the first half, by means of Haydar Awada (34') and Ali Muwafaq Musawi (45').
In the second half, Bourj FC tried to come back in the game, but they only scored once, towards the end of the game, by Mohammed Nasser (87'), actually their only goal in this tournament.
