This is a historical winning run for Fayoum, unprecedented at least in the last 10 years: the fourth victory in a row! And it may be not over yet, as Fayoum will have two consecutive games at home, and it looks like Fayoum is anyway able to crash any opponent after such a fabulous series!
In Tahta, everything was decided in the first half. The referee awarded Fayoum an early penalty, which was transformed by Jaber Jaber: 0-1 (12'). Things could have got even after another 12 minutes, as the referee also awarded the home side a penalty, but Mostafa Dida saved and the score remained the same.
Nothing else happened, as Fayoum defended well and kept their advantage until the end of the game, not without some emotions, as usual. Goalkeeper Mostafa Dida was one of the heroes of the day, for keeping another clean sheet.

In the next round, Fayoum will play at home against Beni Suef, while Tahta will face Media away. Fayoum climbed to the fourth position in the table, only three points away from the leaders, Eastern Company, and now they will have two consecutive matches at home, a great opportunity to continue climbing, to the podium at least.
