OFK Tryavna lost again, 2-0 to Peshtera Galata

Wednesday, 31 March 2021, 4 pm local time (1 pm UTC), Angel Kanchev Stadium, Tryavna, Bulgaria, the 24th round of the Bulgarian Third League, North-West Group (Severozapadna Treta Liga).

It is no longer a surprise that OFK Tryavna lost another match at home. Its their seventh consecutive defeat in seven matches played so far since the beginning of the spring season, and the only good thing is that the scores are bit tighter and they are able to stick to a 0-0 draw at least until half time.

 

While OFK Tryavna's hopes to save themselves from relegation are virtually zero, their opponents, Peshtera Galata, badly needed the win to stay as far away as possible from the dangerous positions in the lower part of the table, especially since Bdin 1923 Vidin have made it clear that they are not going to accept relegation as easily and gather important points almost every round.

OFK Tryavna succeeded to resist in the first half, which ended 0-0. However, in the beginning of the second half, Alyosha Iliev made it 1-0 for the visitors (51') and then Radoslav Radoslavov doubled Peshtera's advantage, 2-0 (62'). It was quite enough for Peshtera, which did not force a third goal, while OFK Tryavna's efforts to come back in the game were all shuttered by the visitors.
