The entire Fayoum SC community is in mourning. Fayoum SC president, Ali Masoud, passed away Saturday evening. He was the club president for many years and succeeded to lead the club skillfully. Sportspeople of Fayoum SC reached high levels of performance under his guidance and leadership. The football team remained for all these years in the Egyptian Second Division, despite the various existing problems, which he solved diligently.
Since October 2020, Ali Masoud has no longer bear direct responsibility of the football team, which is now managed almost independently by a private company and investor. However, he remained close to the team, and he made some very balanced and welcomed comments during this season, for instance after the unfortunate events happened during the away match at the Eastern Company.
He left an enormous empty space in the management of Fayoum SC.
