Two more defeats for OFK Tryavna, to reach a new record of 10 consecutive losses

OFK Tryavna continued their negative run in the Bulgarian Third League, North-West Group, with two more defeats, therefore amounting to 10 consecutive defeats since the start of the second half of the season. The team is already relegated (though not yet mathematically) and, despite some signs of improvement, the negative run does not stop.

On Monday, 12 April 2021, they played at home against Botev 2 Vratsa, one of the strong teams in the group. Botev 2 Vratsa won 4-1 (2-1). Goals were scored by Plamen Spasov (4' and 37' - the second one from a penalty kick), Kristian Georgiev (65') and Aleksandar Dobchev (79') for the B-team of Botev Vratsa, while Martin Shirtev scored the only goal (38') for OFK Tryavna.

OFK Tryavna: Miroslav Kirov - Stanislav Atanasov, Tsanko Slavov (Tomislav Kolev 46'), Vesko Karakolev, Oktay Azisov, Hussein Veisov, Denis Dachev, Daniel Totev, Aleksandar Damyanov (Georgi Atanasov 75'), Dimitar Mitev (Radoslav Kosev 46'), Martin Shirtev.

Their next game was on Sunday, 18 April 2021, away at Partizan Cherven Bryag. OFK Tryavna made a good first half, played courageously, more or less at the same level as their opponents. OFK Tryavna even succeeded to take the lead, after a pass from Aleksandar Damyanov to Martin Shirtev, who sent the ball in, taking benefit from a grave error of goalkeeper Veselin Ganchev: 0-1 (36').

Nevertheless, in the second half the home side pressed continuously and eventually turned the result in their favour, scoring three goals, by means of Tihomir Damyanov (57'), Kaloyan Todorov (59') and Hristo Dimov (70'). The final score was therefore 3-1 for Partizan Cherven Bryag.

OFK Tryavna: Miroslav Kirov - Georgi Atanasov, Stanislav Atanasov (Tomislav Kolev 71'), Vesko Karakolev, Oktay Azisov, Hussein Veisov - Georgi Georgiev, Tihomir Marinov, Daniel Totev (Dimitar Mitev 46') - Aleksandar Damyanov (Denis Dachev 63'), Martin Shirtev.

On Sunday, OFK Tryavna will play at home against OFK Pavlikeni.
