Adnan Yassine has been elected as the new chairman of Bourj FC. After his election as club president, he thanked the General Assembly and the fans of the team for their support and promised to bring the club back to the summit of Lebanese football. He stressed that his strategy is based on professional management and on the high efficiency of the executive staff in the framework of institutional development and the financial strength of Bourj FC, a brand for which innovative financial resources need to be created in addition to the usual resources of a club that stands on solid ground, supported by its history, principles and values inherited by generations of fans.
Adnan Yassine is a powerful bussinesman, the owner of Arabica Sport, a leader in sports marketing in Lebanon and throughout the Arab world.
Mohamad Dakka has been appointed as the new manager of Bourj FC for the 2018-2019 season by the executive staff of the club. He was the manager of the Lebanese Premier League side Safa SC during the 2017-2018 season and his appointment clearly shows the wish of Bourj FC management to promote to the Premier League as soon as possible. Mohamad Dakka will retain his position as assistant coach of the Lebanon national football team, whose head coach is Miodrag Radulovic.

The previous manager, Hassan Mekdad "Mido", has resigned at the end of March 2018, after four successful years in which Bourj FC promoted from the Fourth Division to the Third Division (in 2015) and then to the Second Division (in 2017). However, the team only classified third and missed the promotion to the Premier League in the last round of the 2017-2018 season of the Second Division, when they disappointingly drew 1-1 at home when they needed to win against fourth-classified Mabarrah, a team that had nothing to gain (or to lose) in the final round. This result was perceived as a failure by many Bourj FC fans although the season was quite a successful one, except for a few unexpected poor results. Hassan Mekdad "Mido" announced several times his intention to resign during the season and his resignation at the end of the season was finally accepted by the administrative staff of Bourj FC.
