Finally, a football score: 1. FK Svidník - MFK Vranov nad Topl'ou 1-2 (1-0)

Sunday, 15 August 2021, 4:30 pm local time (2:30 pm UTC), Mestský futbalový štadion, Svidník, Slovakia, 4th matchday of the Slovak Third League, East Group (3. Liga - Východ).

After three matches in which they were crushed 12-0 and twice 8-1, 1. FK Svidník succeeded to play a decent game and to lose only 2-1 (a decent score) to MFK Vranov nad Topl'ou.

Even more, they even led right from the beginning, as Vladislav Haňak took by surprise the opposite defence, and after a smart one-two with his colleague Adam Josef Oravec, he sent the ball in: 1-0 (1'). Of course, the goal had a positive effect on the overall dynamics of the team, also helped by a heavy rain in the first half, which impeded to a certain point the offensive actions of the visitors.

However, things changed in the second half, and Dmytro Popov equalized quickly, heading in a cross from a free kick on the right side: 1-1 (48'). Ten minutes later, after another set piece, this time a corner kick, the ball was sent away but got to Milan Lukáč at the edge of the box, whose powerful shot went in: 1-2 (58').

Despite several opportunities, the score remained the same until the end of the game, and 1. FK Svidník were quite close to achieve their first point this season.
