Fayoum SC - KIMA Aswan 2-2 (0-1)

Abdel Moati Mohammed 89' (penalty), Salah Refaat 90'+4' - Mustafa Abdel Rasoul 22', Mohamed Najeh 77'.

Saturday, 30 October 2021, 2:30 pm local time (12:30 pm UTC), Alassiouty Sport Resort, Fayoum, Egypt, the 5th round of the Egyptian Second Division, Group A.

KIMA Aswan was very close to a historical win away at Fayoum, as they were 2-0 in front with just a few minutes left of the game. Fayoum SC came back in the last minutes and in stoppage time to equalize and to win a point... out of nothing.

The visitors seemed to be in control of the game for most of the time, and they scored first by means of Mustafa Abdel Rasoul: 0-1 (22').

Fayoum seem unable to provide a proper response, and the game was pretty much over when Mohamed Najeh doubled the advantage for KIMA Aswan: 0-2 (77').

However, in the final minutes, Fayoum surprisingly fought back. Referee Mustafa Medhat awarded a penalty for Fayoum, transformed by Abdel Moati Mohamed: 1-2 (89').

In stoppage time, Fayoum launched a total offensive, and in the last minute of additional time, Ahmed Saleh Rifaat scored a much-desired equalizer, which sent the home side into ecstasy and the visitors into desperation: 2-2 (90'+4').

The match was broadcasted on TV by Nile Sports.
