Barakat Ibrahim leaves as Fayoum loses 3-0 away to leaders Beni Suef

On Thursday, 29 November, in the 11th round of the Egyptian Second Division, Group A, Fayoum had a very difficult game away at surprising top team of the moment, Beni Suef. The hosts won 3-0 (1-0 at half time), by means of the goals scored by Mohamed Sadiq, Karim Ashraf and Moataz Mahrous.
There were however some incidents, mainly caused by Barakat Ibrahim, the head coach of the visitors. Under high pressure to get better results, from the very beginning of the match he started insulting Tarek Al Sayed, former head coach of Al Minya, who was in the stands, accusing him that he wants to become head coach of Fayoum. Barakat Ibrahim also accused the management of Fayoum SC for negotiating with Tarek Al Sayed without mentioning anything to him. In the 10th minute of the game, when it was still 0-0, Barakat Ibrahim left the bench and the stadium, leaving the Fayoum players without any technical help during the rest of the game. Barakat Ibrahim was sent off twice by the referees as head coach of Fayoum in the past few games because of his attitude.
Fayoum SC management denied having any negotiations with Tarek Al Sayed or anyone else, but it is hard to imagine that Barakat Ibrahim would return as head coach for the next game of Fayoum, next Thursday, on the 4th of December, at home against Sohag.
Starting line-ups:
Beni Suef: Mustafa Abdel Sattar, Mustafa Safti, Mohamed Abdel Hafiz, Sharif Havez, Abdel Wahid Abdelaziz, Hussam Issa, Moataz Mahrous, Ahmed Shehata, Karim Ashraf, Mohamed Sadiq, Sayed Shaaban.
Fayoum: Ahmed Mahmoud, Mahmoud Al Husseini, Saber Ashraf, Mahmoud Abou Bakr, Mohammed Eid, Mohamed Mahmoud, Omar Hosni, Taher Rabea, Mahmoud Ahmed, Shaab Shaaban, Ahmad Abd Al-Ati.
Fayoum continues to be in the relegation zone on the 11th position after 11 rounds.
