Pablo Peirano is the new manager of Cusco FC, replacing Marcelo Grioni

Uruguayan Pablo Peirano is the new manager of Cusco FC, in the Peruvian Second Division. He replaced Argentinian Marcelo Grioni, who was sacked after just one official game this season, a 1-0 defeat away at Unión Comercio.

Not much is known about the other members of his managerial team.

Pablo Peirano is well-known in Peru, as he was manager of Carlos A. Mannucci between 2019 and 2021, in two different stints. Before that, he managed Danubio and Racing Club de Montevideo in Uruguay, Al Arabi in Qatar, and Independiente Santa Fe in Colombia.

His mission in Cusco is very clear: the team should promote back to the Peruvian First Division.

Cusco did not play in the second round of the Second Division, which means that Pablo Peirano had a little more time to adapt to his new team. The next game for Cusco FC will be on Saturday, 16 April 2022, at 3 pm, at home (Garcilaso Stadium in Cusco), against Alfonso Ugarte.
