Sunday, the 1st of September 2019, 15:30 local time (13:30 UTC), Mladost Stadium, Kalsa, Slovakia, match in advance for the 12th round of the Slovak 3. Liga - East.
The Eastern Slovakia Football Federation postponed the entire seventh round of the Slovak 3. Liga - East for November. However, Mladost Kalsa and 1. FK Svidnik decided that this is not a good time to postpone a match, the weather is still warm, so they played in advance the match between them, scheduled for the 12th round (on the 5th or 6th of October).
Eventually, it proved not to be such a good idea, especially from the point of view of the visitors, who lost 4-0. The newly-promoted home side showed strength from the beginning of the season and they once again clearly set the pace of the game and won easily. The first goal was scored by Krakovsky: 1-0 (22'). Right before half time, Seman doubled the advantage: 2-0 (43').
In the second half, things continued in the same manner, and Mladost Kalsa scored two more goals, by means of Capik: 3-0 (60'), and Kolek: 4-0 (76').
This is the worse defeat for 1. FK Svidnik in this season, but things may become even worse, as they will play away at Tatran Presov on Saturday.
Mladost Kalsa: Pella - Krakovsky, Vajda, Patkanoci, Majny (Gaspar 75'), Seman (Kiovsky 80'), Capik, Kolek, Pastor, Timkovic, Zeher (Takac 80'). Head coach: L'ubomir Mad'arik.
1. FK Svidnik: Mulik - Bialoncik, Zapotocky, Cekan, Kisel'a (Horbaj 80') - Kuhajdik, Elias (Pil'ar 74') - Krizanovski (Matkobis 80'), Maslov, Tokar (Kosc 46') - Cabala. Head coach: Tomas Elias.
Referee: Milos Jasecko. No yellow or red cards were shown.
For 1. FK Svidnik, the defeat is not such a big deal, as they will have to focus on the matches against lower-classified teams, their direct competitors to avoid relegation. The 2-0 win over Vel'ke Revistia last weak brought some fresh air and three points, but the team needs more positive results to come out of the relegation area.
This time, only the club president Jozef Zak has made the trip to Kalsa, along with the players, including Tomas Elias, the head coach who also plays. After the match against Tesla Stropkov, some of the staff disappeared: the assistant coach Robert Petrus (who actually advised the players from the bench, as Tomas Elias was playing), the sporting director Adrian Hricov (also a player) and the team manager Michal Kurilec. They also missed the previous game, against Vel'ke Revistia. Hopefully, the club will either bring them back or replace them quickly, as the team is in real need of technical staff, as shown by the match at Kalsa. It is also noticeable that Lukas Hricov, Adrian Hricov's brother, was also absent at Kalsa, as well as Jan Ducar, who missed the previous game, too.
For 1. FK Svidnik, this match provided a warning for what may come next, on Saturday, at Presov.
