Alfredo "Chapu" Ramúa reached 300 appearances for Real Garcilaso / Cusco FC, while Danilo Carando is the new all-time goalscorer

At the end of the 2020 season, Cusco FC does not have much to cheer about, as they classified only 12th in the overall table and missed all the possible targets.

However, two footballers of their ranks are on top of Real Garcilaso / Cusco FC historical statistics. Alfredo "Chapu" Ramúa remain the all-time leader in terms of most appearances for the club, either in the Peruvian First Division (Liga 1 or Primera División) or in all competitions, with round numbers: 250 matches played in the First Division and 300 in all competitions, wearing the shirt of either Real Garcilaso or Cusco FC. He is therefore the first footballer to reach 300 matches played for a club which is only 11 years old.

On the other hand, the same Ramúa lost its leading position as an all-time goalscorer. He only scored twice this season, and he was therefore took over by his fellow Argentinian, "El Gringo" Danilo Carando. Carando had an excellent season, scoring 14 goals, classifying among the top ten goalscorers in the Peruvian First Division. Due this performance, he now has 53 goals scored for Real Garcilaso / Cusco FC in the First Division and 61 goals in all competitions, compared to only 42 and 57 goals scored by Ramúa, respectively. Unfortunately, it looks like Carando is leaving Cusco FC for another club in 2021.

There were no other changes in the top ten in any table, but one has to point out the fact that several very promising players have already signed for Cusco FC in view of the 2021 season, and that players like José Rivera, Miguel Carranza or Erick Gonzales confirmed that they will stay for the next season.
