Sunday, the 27th of September 2020, 5 pm local time (2 pm UTC), Angel Kanchev Stadium, Tryavna, Bulgaria, the 8th round of the Bulgarian Third League - North-West Group (Severozapadna Treta Liga).
It was about time for OFK Tryavna to win a game and to get out of the second to last place where they stayed for so long. Last week they did not play away at Peshtera Galata, another decisive match against a team which is in a similar situation in the lower part of the table. However, the match was postponed, and today, after a break of two weeks, OFK Tryavna had the chance to win their first game this season on their own stadium.
OFK Tryavna started the match very well indeed, and smashed their opponents in the first half, leading 2-0 at half time. However, in the second half, the game changed completely, as the visitors tried to come back in the game, while the team managed by Daniel Hristov played in a rather conservative manner, prefering to preserve the score and to launch counterattacks. Finally, FK Drenovets succeeded to score one goal, the end of the game was therefore quite tense, but eventually OFK Tryavna got all the points.
