The first point this season for OFK Tryavna: 1-1 at home against Etar II Veliko Tarnovo

Wednesday, the 9th of September 2020, 5 pm local time (2 pm UTC), Angel Kanchev Stadium, Tryavna, Bulgaria, rescheduled match of the 2nd round, Bulgarian Third League - North-West (Severozapadna Treta Liga).
After four consecutive losses, OFK Tryavna succeeded to get their first point this season. Manager Daniel Hristov should be happy, because the game was in pretty much in the hands of the opposite side, the second (mainly youth) team of Etar Veliko Tarnovo, which have their main team in the top-flight Bulgarian League.
The young visitors dominated most of the first half and were awarded a penalty for a foul on Steven Manolov in the area, which was transformed by their captain, Dimitar Baidakov: 0-1 (25'). Other than this, there were very few real goal-scoring opportunities.

The second half was much more interesting, as the home side balanced the game and started pushing for an equalizer, while the visitors took benefit of the ever larger spaces created across the Tryavna defence. Both teams tried to impress the referee, who disregarded the home side claim for a penalty in 69', and a similar claim of the visitors for a foul on Baidakov in the area, just a few minutes later.
However, another foul inside the visitors' area convinced the referee to award a penalty for OFK Tryavna. Aleksandar Damyanov executed and brought the much needed equalizer: 1-1 (81').
Starting line-ups:
Tryavna: Miroslav Kirov (cpt.) - Ivaylo Hristov, Delyan Donchev, Tsanko Slavov, Hussein Weisov, Oktay Azisov, Ilian Tosunov, Aleksandar Damyanov, Alex Zgriparov, Hristo Tsonev, Vasil Andreev. Head coach: Daniel Hristov.

Referee: Hristiyana Guteva.
On Sunday afternoon, OFK Tryavna will play again at home against OFK Lokomotiv Mezdra, a good opportunity to add something to the point they have won today. In the table, they are still second from last, as Bdin Vidin (which are last) have no points so far, while OFK Levski 2007 have 2 points.
