Fayoum obtained a second win this season on Thursday, 25 October, at home against Dayrout. It is the second positive result in a row, after a 1-1 draw away at Al Nasr Lel Taa'den a week ago.
The game was actually played at Alassiouty Sports Complex in Asyut because Fayoum Stadium is not ready yet to host official matches.
Fayoum had an excellent first half having 4-0 at half time, due to goals scored by Ahmed Shebab Shafiq (twice, in the 8th minute and in the 36th minute), Ahmed Abdel Baqi (in the 28th minute) and Mahmoud Arafat (in the 45th minute).
In the second half, Dayrout succeeded only in scoring one goal, by Hazem Mohammed in the 56th minute.
The team managed by Barakat Ibrahim won therefore 4-1 and reached the 8th place in the classification after 8 rounds. Good results are still needed for the team to be in the upper part of the table. The next week, Fayoum will play away at Markaz Shabab Naser Mallawi, last classified.
